The Party

We haven't ever done anything really eventful to celebrate Zoey's birthday, so we decided to throw her a party for #3.

I thought the pink cupcakes with purple frosting turned out pretty well.

A bounce house seemed the easiest way to go, so we booked the ball field and rented a pink castle bounce house. Many of her friends have older siblings, which upped the kid count quickly. Boys didn't seem to mind jumping in a pink princess structure. Adults came too.
Adam and Marilee mad a special effort to get Avery there, and Zoey loved having her little cousin at the party.

Zoey with Aubrielle Green and Addy Marsh, two of her best friends.

Guests were treated to an assortment of Zoey's favorite snacks including: "pink yogurt," graham crackers, string cheese, olives, raisins, popcorn, and soy beans (edamame). Of course cupcakes too.

Look at the eyelashes on her. Sometimes she is so beautiful it takes my breath away.

Kevin, aka dad extraordinaire, did a juggling routine to the delight of all of the kids there.

We know Zoey likely won't remember this party, except in pictures, but it was fun to see her that day surrounded by little friends, running and jumping and playing and eating and having a wonderful time.
