Fun, Fun, Fun!

Zoey has started testing out her vocal abilities. For the last few days she keeps making these noises that sound like a dying cat. I'm hoping she is just experimenting and that these sounds are part of a short phase. It is like fingernails to a chalkboard. Nevertheless, she's still a little angel. The picture below proves it!

I recently discovered Zoey likes to eat sand. She's been to the beach twice this week. How's this "I'm too sexy for my suit" picture?

Thursday, Kevin picked up our glider. It is so nice to have one and it is the most comfortable piece of furniture we have. We waited longer to get the chair because it was made by a company in Indiana called Best Chair and shipped here. Zoey likes it too!
As if new sounds, the beach, and a new glider weren't enough fun for one week, we have Mikele visiting for a few days. We are grateful her parents let her come down to party in LA.

Yesterday, Kevin took both of us sailing in the marina, using his newly acquired skills as a skipper.

We also went to the beach. Rounding out the night was Shakespeare by the Sea's lovely production of "As you Like it." They are a wonderful company and perform FREE all summer long up and down the coast. Check them out if you are local.
