Yeah for Homemade stuff!

My friend Cath sent Zoey this cute mod bib and matching burp cloth that she got from a friend of hers, who has an Etsy shop. So adorable it will even make Zoey's spit up cute. Okay, maybe that's taking things a little far. Thanks Cath for the thoughtfulness, and for supporting your friend's creativity. I'm amazed by people who can make such things.

Since I'm praising the creativity and talent of those who are truly talented with homemade goods, mom deserves a big shout out for her fabulous blankets. She picks out the fabrics--note the fun backsides in the top corner--pairs them together and crochets the delicate edge. She often creates edges that match or mimick the pattern of the fabric. For example, the orange fishy blanket edge resembles the top fin of the fish. There are matching burp cloths that go with the blankets. She gives them often as baby gifts, although I think Zoey got more than her share. We love them all!
