"I Need to Tell you Four Things"

When Zoey's behavior is inappropriate and I feel like I need to explain to her why that is the case I usually try tell her that I need to tell her two or three things.  One of those three is always that I love her.  The other point or two is about what I want her to do or stop doing and why.

While eating lunch today, she said very seriously to me.  "Mom, I need to tell you four things."

I said, "Okay."

"One.  I love you."
"Two.  I don't love bugs."
"Three" (in a dramatic whisper) "I LOOOOOOOVE Princesses."
"Four.  I also love Paige, and Daddy, and Papa and Grandpa, and Grandma Redford, and Grandma Gail."
