Christmas

Zoey was afraid of Santa this year. At our ward Christmas party and at Adam and Marilee's house with the amazing Santa who stopped by for a visit, she was scared. This was as close as she would get Christmas Eve and she still bawled. Fortunately, I don't think the experience scarred her.

She was thrilled to open presents Christmas day and by the end had really figured out how to do it, knowing there was something cool under the paper. She's at a great age because whatever she opened she was excited, even for the socks. But, this picture captures perfectly her favorite present: a new baby doll.

The pure thrill on her face was such a delight to see. Love this girl!
