Birth Smart is the brain-child of my amazing friend Cindy Crosby. We met in college and then were in Vienna together in study abroad, and were neighbors in the foreign language complex. She's amazing, and believes that women and their bodies have tremendous capabilities. She's the featured writer on Dare to Dream, the project of Whitney Johnson, who aims to support women setting, reaching for and achieving their goals. She and I haven't met in person (or don't remember doing so), but have lots of connections from NYC, and I'm always uplifted when I read about the women and girls she has on her blog.
