Even the food was patriotic!
Waiting for fireworks tested the patience of these cute boys.Liam fit right in with Logan and G-man
Adam, Avery, and Marilee
Grandma, Papa, and Annie-girl
Kevin and Zoey excited awaited fireworks too.
When the show started, Zoey sat happily in Kevin's lap and giggled after most of the fireworks. Watching/listening to her enjoy them was even more fun than watching them myself. However, the show was about 15 minutes too long. When Zoey was done, she was done, but the show kept going. We missed the Millers, who stayed home, in hopes of not infecting the rest of us with a nasty stomach virus. That plan failed, unfortunately, due to previous contact. Certainly, its great to have a close family, but we don't need to share EVERYTHING!

We are sad we missed it since everyone got sick anyway!
So fun to spend the holiday together. So sad we all got sick. And by the way, that "yellow" frosting was not yellow. It was creamish white. There is no such thing as white food coloring or white butter so my frosting turned creamish white NOT yellow! :-)
The Yellow was Kevin's shirt, not your fabu flag brownies. Zoey and I were dressed for the holiday and Kevin wore Yellow.
