What we do when we aren't watching TV

I feel like we spend WAY too much time in front of the zombie box. In LA, Before Kevin and I got married, I didn't own a TV. My roommate in NYC had to basically beg me to pay part of anything beyond basic cable. This is not a topic open for the Redford family budget; I get the "you gotta be crazy" look when I bring it up. Kevin, claims to watch less TV since he married me. I guess we've met somewhere in the middle.

When we aren't watching TV, here are a some of the things we like to do:

Zoey and I listen as Kevin practices the guitar:
Or, we (mostly me) lounge about reading books (mostly parts of articles from the growing pile of unread The New Yorker magazines before I doze off on the couch.)
Or, we admire the cuteness in our house:
TV, music, magazines, naps, cuteness---these are the things besides caring for Zoey, cooking, cleaning, and the endless task of grocery shopping that are helping me procrastinate beyond my previous procrastinating achievements. Dissertation??? Hurumpf!
