We did Halloween 3 times this year! The first run a friend organized a visit with several kiddies to an old folks home nearby. The residents were a little overwhelmed with all the kids and noise, but several of them really enjoyed the vibrant interruption to their afternoon. Those who wanted to participate sat in the common area in a little circle and had candy some to pass out. The kids sang a
Halloween song to complete the visit. I finished
Zoey's skirt just in time, but didn't paint her face that day.
Saturday was the Trunk-or-Treat at the church. This go round both of the girls were in their full costumes.
Zoey wanted to be pink--the color pink. I went with a suggestion left on the blog (love comments people) and made her a little tutu, dressed her head to toe in pink and painted her face.

The green pumpkin basket didn't quite go with the ensemble, but it is what she wanted and I didn't have any pink spray paint. The skirt was quite easy to make and she loved it.
Paige let me know it was okay not to have a costume this year, but that she wanted to be festive. Here she is looking somber in her first Halloween outfit.

And starting to perk up with the news that we would have tons of fun!

Our last Halloween experience overwhelmed
Zoey a little. We did a proper trick or treat in Stevenson's Ranch with cousin Avery.
Zoey got a little scared by some of the really decked out houses. Sadly, Kevin's visions of taking her (in several years) to
Knotts Scary Farm might not pan out. She is like me and gets scared easily.) I didn't get a good picture of
Zoey and Avery together, but as always they enjoyed each other. Avery made an adorable Rapunzel, complete with an awesome wig.
Zoey's favorite candy these days: Lollipops

Zoey looked so cute! Im glad Eliot's not the only one who scares easily. Poor kid was afraid of trick or treaters.
no, Knott's Scary Farm for me either. Zoey was PINK, lol!
too cute!
